Recipe Note
This sugary classic can easily be transformed with just a couple ingredients. When choosing your bread, a sprouted grain mix like Silver Hill's Little Big Bread offers more protein, fat, fiber and high quality vitamins and minerals like iron. Opposed to commercial white bread, sprouted grain breads will help prevent the sugar highs and lows.
Bananas are a rich source of magnesium, which helps to relieve growing pains and helps to calm the mind.
Hemp hearts are loaded with omega 3 fatty acids and fiber. These babies pack a powerful nutrition bomb to almost any food. Omega 3s are vital for brain function and development and concentration. The fiber slows down digestion, helping to maintain energy levels for longer.
Your freeze-dried breastmilk is the original superfood and the only customized supplement your babe will ever have in their life. Your Booby Food provides probiotics and enzymes to help their tummies digest this calorie dense super snack and antioxidents known to help protect against periodontal diseases, gingivitis and cavities.
Food for Thought: The CDC and Dietary Guidelines for Americans reccomended that children under 2 years avoid foods with added sugar. Naturally occuring sugars found in fruits are a-ok, but many commercially prepared breakfast spreads, including Nutella do contain added sugar.
