Now, let's get to the really good stuff! Lactation booting properties, aka Galactagogues. If you're worried about lactation effects on those who aren't breastfeeding but still devouring these bites of heaven, you can rest easy. All these ingredients can be eaten from tall to small and young to old and won't make your husband ask to borrow your nipple pads.
Oats, flaxseed, brewer’s yeast and almonds are known for their lactation-boosting benefits. When choosing maple syrup, ditch the fake stuff and go right for the darkest grade. This is the 'last tap of the tree' packed with vitamins and minerals, especially b vitamins!
Galactagogues are a powerful tool for breastfeeding mothers because of their impacts on postpartum hormones, like prolactin, which is directly linked to milk production.
Although these Maple Almond Lactation Bites are stuffed full of prolactin-supportive ingredients, don't forget that having a good latch/pump and being consistent with breastmilk removal are your staples for improving your breastmilk supply.
