Before Expressing/Pumping Breastmilk
- Always wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds help prevent the spread of bacteria and germs to your baby.
- Make sure that your breast pump and all the equipment are clean and well maintained with no rips, tears or mould.
- Clean the breast pump surface and countertop area where you're preparing the bottles and equipment.
