I've had a rough journey to get our baby here! We had a miscarriage back in 2020 and then struggled to get pregnant again. We ended up finding a borderline ovarian tumor and proceeded to remove my right ovary. After recovery, we again tried to get pregnant but struggled for a few more months before turning to our reproductive endocrinologist. After 3 cycles of IUI, we found out we were having our rainbow baby! But the eventful journey did not end there, I ended up having a placental abruption at 27 weeks and being hospitalized until I delivered at 29 weeks. Our little boy, Ari, has been in the nicu for the last 11 weeks and we are hopeful that he will be getting out soon! Because he has been in the nicu, I have been able to build up a breast milk supply which has overtaken two freezers and it was time to look for other options that offered flexibility for our freezers and upcoming vacations.
