This is my third baby, and third time combo breastfeeding and pumping as a full time working mom. However, I don't think breastfeeding has necessarily gotten easier. Each baby is so different, you have to learn all over again! The only thing I was super prepared for was finding resources and support, I knew where to go! With this baby we had to overcome tongue and lip tie and releases, oversupply and major food allergies. I ended up having to donate the first 250 ounces of my milk supply (the first four months of hard work!!) because they contained allergen foods that I could/cannot not safely feed my baby. Because of my work schedule, I don’t know how much longer I will be able to keep up pumping and breastfeeding as demands increase but I want to make sure my baby still gets the benefits of the months of hard work of my pumped milk. I love the idea of not having to worry about thawing the milk and thinking so far in advance- I cannot tell you how many freezer bags have gone in the garbage because we didn’t use them in time or we heated it up only for the baby not to be hungry. My other son also rejected formula completely and would not switch when we ran out of frozen milk so I love the idea that this baby won’t have to do that! I am so excited to have found this company.
